What is a Business Improvement District (BID)?
A Business Improvement District (BID) works on behalf of its members to improve a defined commercial area, funded by a levy charged on all business rate payers in the area.
The defined BID area is provided in the map below and includes all businesses located from Mill Street through to Hillsborough Terrace and Tristram Street across to the Waikato River.
Hamilton Central Business Association
Represents the needs of the central city businesses to create a dynamic business community.
Promotes the central city as a bustling, active, innovative, vibrant place that offers exceptional businesses and experiences.
Represents the central city business voice on issues and projects of strategic importance to the central city.
