Another swag of new businesses in Hamilton’s central business district this year is being seen as a further sign of confidence in the city’s future as it emerges from the impacts of Covid-19.
Figures for the first six months of 2022 from the Hamilton Central Business Association indicate business ranks have swelled by around 30 in the CBD.
That includes new start-ups, expansion of existing businesses and people moving into Hamilton from elsewhere, association general manager Vanessa Williams said Tuesday.
