Waikato’s Clark Lane Distillery has tapped into the native flavours of Aotearoa and brewed a first-of-its-kind hand-crafted Piko gin.
The idea was conceived as a result of Covid-19 lockdown boredom when friends and co-founders Andrew Thomson, Andre Vandenberg, Duncan Otto, and Mark Flyger were drinking beers.
“Why don’t we brew some gin?” was the next thought.
