Success Awards
Judged by a panel of independent judges, recognising the successes and achievements
of businesses in their sector.
The category you select on your entry form must be reflective of the predominate nature of your business. We reserve the right to change your selection if we consider another
category to be more appropriate.
All businesses who enter a CBD Success Award category are also eligible to enter the Innovation Award category.
Retail Award
Recognising the successes and achievements of any business in the retail sector. Includes franchises, independently owned retail businesses, department store and traditional retail operators.
Tourism / Hospitality Award
Recognises the successes and achievements of any business in the tourism or hospitality sector. Includes accommodation, attractions, activities, cafes, restaurants, pubs, fast food, catering services.
Professional Services Award
Recognises the successes and achievements of any business that delivers services including the professional sector. Includes all lawyers, accountants, doctors, web designers, creative agencies, advisors, veterinarians, real estate agents, banks, photographers, financial planners, IT providers, insurance brokers.
Trade Services Award
Recognises the successes and achievements of any business that delivers trade services. Includes all trades, printers, hair-dressers, beauticians, gyms, massage therapists, repair services.
Social Enterprise Award
Recognising the successes and achievements of any business outside the private sector, including non-profit, 100% Government funded education institutions, health service providers and community trusts are invited to enter.
All businesses who enter a CBD Success Award category are also eligible to enter the Innovation Award category.
Innovation Award
Recognising the success and achievements of a business that demonstrates creative, entrepreneurial or innovation process, product and service that has enhanced the business.
All businesses who enter a CBD Success Award category will automatically be entered in to the People’s Choice Award.
This will be promoted via Hamilton Central Facebook and website. Businesses are encouraged to use their own marketing channels to promote their entry to customers.
