Towering over the one of the most prominent routes into Hamilton’s CBD it stands, broken windows gaping and graffiti and rubbish-strewn ground floors greeting visitors to Hamilton’s golden mile.
As central city businesses face difficult trading conditions and a fight to attract shoppers, the old Inland Revenue building, owned by absentee Wellington landlords and in increasingly derelict state, has been dubbed an eyesore by business advocates frustrated at its state.
